My dad taught me to fish at a very early age. Fishing was something we did as a family and we did it often. Fishing was also an easy sport to bring along our many friends too. My dad inspired both me and my friends and we learned many things from my dad. When he passed away recently he took a part of all of us with him. But one of the greatest things he left with me, my brothers and my friends was the love of fishing.

On the Boardman River

We'd get our chores done on the farm and then we'd head to the Boardman River to cast a few lines. Regardless of the season we all loved to fish. As I grew older I soon developed my own areas where I love to fish including the Traverse City area and many spots in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. While fishing in the U.P. I discovered the Riverwitch line of lures and introduced them to one of my friends. I soon became known up and down the Boardman River as "Witch Doctor" because I am an avid fan of Riverwitch Lures, and because I am also a doctor. As a result of studying the many successful lures and in memory of my dad, we set out to design and develop and patent a lure in honor of my dad and all the hours we shared fishing. So it seems only natural to continue the legend of my dad with a line of "Witch Doctor Fishing Lures."

What we came up with was the KAOS fishing plug. We combined names and initials and we named it in honor and memory of my dad. The KAOS plug is a proven lure which has been used successfully whether you are downrigging, casting, spinning, doing vertical jigging or even trolling. Add all the speed you want to your castings.
