Known Books
An independent bookstore in Suttons Bay since 1996 (online since 1995). Selling new and used books via www.known.com and from their "down by the bay" location in the lower level of The Millside Building.
Hansen Foods
An assortment of local and regional books plus national bestsellers. They are located off M-22 in the Hansen Plaza. Visit their Daily Lunch Special blog at: www.hansengrcoery.com
The Business Helper
A concentration of art and art instruction books plus a selection of gift books. Also a spinner of used "paperback beach reads" near their front door. They are located on Broadway across the street from the Edwards Patio Shop and the Suttons Bay Post Office.
New Kids in Town
For that "just a little something more" purchase, New Kids in Town has fun children's board books plus some of the more popular regional children's picture books. They are in the heart of downtown Suttons Bay right next door to the Lima Bean.
Bayshore Pharmacy and The Prescription Shop
Now how lucky can we be in our village to have two great pharmacy stores? Both stores carry a few spinners of health related books, some gift books, and some inspirational spiritual books.
Bayshore Pharmacy is located in the Hansen Plaza, and The Prescription Shop is at the northern end of Suttons Bay in the same complex as Radio Shack and Century 21 Real Estate.

Suttons Bay Galleries carries many collectible books plus spectacular art. You can also buy copies of Harry Goldson's CDs at Suttons Bay Galleries.
The Michigan Peddler
Conveniently located across the street from New Kids in Town in the heart of the Suttons Bay downtown shopping district. The Michigan Peddlar carries a lavish selection of Michigan-related books, all the regional and popular children's picture books, the "Legend of" series by Kathy-jo Wargin published by Sleeping Bear Press. They've got some wonderful Michigan products too! Well worth the stop - they feature the throw blanket and art of Glenn Wolff.
Michigan Artists Gallery
A good place to pick up some of the local flavor coffee table type books. The Michigan Artists Gallery carries Ken Scott's book Leelanau plus a few other photo books about Leelanau County.
Up North Antiques
An interesting variety of some of the older books at very reasonable prices.
Up North Antiques is located on the northern end of the village near the Michigan Artists Gallery.
Enerdyne
Enerdyne is legendary for their great nature and science store in Suttons Bay. They stock and sell many shelves full of nature and science books, plus all the popular regional children's picture books, the "Legend of" series with legends retold by Kathy-jo Wargin, plus many other Sleeeping Bear Press books, others from Mackinac Island Press including Tears of Mother Bear, Hidden Cherries plus many others.
Murdick's Fudge
What a great store full of wonderful treats for the senses! While browsing through their fun local and fudge related gift books pick up a pound or two of fudge or some of their caramel corn!
