I love to read. Do you? Is there a pleasure greater than browsing shelves of books, and bringing some home? How could a person be bored when a book is yet to be read?

This page and section is a lesson learned from customers. I was adamant about being a store that served our local Suttons Bay and Leelanau County community, not wanting to become just another gift store serving the tourist trade. But, there is really such an interest in our area and something I learned is that people really do want to learn more, and also, they want to take a bit of the county home with them. So, because of them I've been in pursuit of more titles and other items that might be of interest. If you know of a book or item that we should offer, send us an email with your suggestion.
