Thea M. KelloggThea M. Kellogg lives in an area of Michigan the Native Americans named Leelanau, meaning "The Land of Delight." Leelanau County is located in an area of Michigan that is commonly referred to as the 'little finger of the mitt.' The peninsula is surrounded by the great waters of Lake Michigan and Grand Traverse Bay where the terrain is hilly. Driving along most any road in the County provides spectacular views of one of the most beautiful areas in the world, during any season.
An interest and involvement in writing began for Thea while attending high school and college; but her talents were left dormant for many years. She married Northport native Ray Kellogg in 1964 and raised three sons in an area that is within a mile of her childhood home. In 1992 Thea experienced and triumphed over a serious depression which she has written about in Visions of Sunsets.
Thea's work now includes working with people who suffer from depression by offering support and encouragement. She continues to write and is available to speak with public and private groups about depression and her journey to health.
